225g 8oz shredded red cabbage (1/2lb)
2 dessert apples cored and sliced
4 celery sticks chopped up
Dressing
150ml 1/4 pint oil (2/3 cup)
3 tablespoons of cider vinegar
2 teaspoons of French mustard (Dijon style mustard)
1 tablespoon of caster sugar
pepper and salt to suit your own personal taste Method for
Autumn Coleslaw Salad:-
Place the cabbage, apples and celery into a large bowl. Mix together all of the dressing mix ingredients with the pepper and salt to suit your own personal taste in a sealed jar and shake well. Pour the dressing mix over the salad and shake. Cover the bowl and allow to refrigerate overnight.
Autumn slaw salad serves 4 to 6 people
