How to create Mixed Rice Salad

Mixed Rice Salad  

Ingredients Mixed Rice Salad

Mixed Rice Salad measurements  Metric / Imperial (American)

100g 4oz long grain rice (1/2 cup)

pepper and salt to suit your own personal taste

25g 4oz raisins (3 tablespoons)

25g 1oz salted peanuts (1/4 cup)

4 tomatoes chopped up

1/2 green pepper cored seeded and diced

1 x 200g 7oz/8oz can of sweetcorn kernels drained

3 tablespoons bottled French dressing mix (Italian dressing mix)

Method for Mixed Rice Salad:-

Cook the rice in salted boiling water for about 20 minutes or until they are tender. Drain the rice and allow it to cool. Add the remaining ingredients to the rice and fold together. Refrigerate before serving.

Mixed rice salad will serve 4 to 6 people.
