How to create Italian Avocado Salad

Ingredients Italian Avocado Salad

Italian Avocado Salad measurements  Metric / Imperial (American)

175g 6oz pasta shells (1 1/2 cups)

Salt to suit your own personal taste

2 celery sticks diced

1 green pepper cored seeded and diced

100g 4oz sliced mushrooms (1cup)

1 tablespoon of chopped up walnuts

4 tablespoons bottled French dressing mix (bottled Italian dressing mix)

1 ripe avocado peeled stoned and chopped up

lemon juice

lettuce leaves

Method for Italian Avocado Salad:-

Cook the pasta shells in salted oiling water until they are tender. Drain and allow to cool. Mix the pasta shells with the celery, green pepper, mushrooms and walnuts. Add the dressing mix and shake together. Sprinkle the avocado with lemon juice to prevent discoloration, then add to the salad and mix well. Line a serving dish with lettuce leaves an place the salad on top.

Italian avocado salad serves 4 to 6 people
