How to create Apple Date Salad

Ingredients Apple Date Salad

Apple Date Salad measurements  Metric / Imperial (American)

100g 4oz dates stoned and chopped up (3/4 cup)

2 red dessert apples cored and sliced (red peel)

3 sticks of celery chopped up

50g 2oz walnuts chopped up (1/2 cup)

8 shredded Chinese cabbage leaves


150 ml 1/4 pint of plain low fat yogurt (2/3 cup)

1 tablespoon of honey

juice of 1/2 lemon

pepper and salt to suit your own personal taste

Method for Apple Date Salad:-

Mix together the dates, apples, celery, and walnuts. Mix together the dressing mix ingredients with the pepper and salt to suit your own personal taste and fold into the date mixture. Line a small salad bowl with the shredded Chinese cabbage leaves (bok choy) and place the date mixture on the top.
