How to create Kidney Bean Salad
Ingredients

1 thinly sliced onion
pepper and salt to suit your own personal taste
1 x 425g 15oz can of red kidney beans drained
chopped up parsley to garnish
Dressing
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1 tablespoon of wine vinegar
1 clove of garlic crushed
1 pinch of dry mustard 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil Method for
Kidney Bean Salad:-
Sprinkle the onion with salt and leave for thirty minutes. Meanwhile, combine all of the dressing mix ingredients with the pepper and salt to suit your own personal taste in a sealed jar and shake well. Rinse the onion and pat dry with kitchen roll. Place the onion in a large salad bowl and add the kidney beans. Pour over the dressing mix and shake well. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
Kidney bean salad serves 4 people.
