How to create Oriental Pasta Salad

Oriental Pasta Salad 

Ingredients Oriental Pasta Salad

Oriental Pasta Salad measurements  Metric / Imperial (American)

225g 8oz pasta shapes (1/2lb)

pepper and salt to suit your own personal taste

1 x 225g 8oz can of pineapple chunks

175g 6oz bean sprouts (3 cups)

2 grated carrots

1/2 cucumber chopped up


6 tablespoons of oil

2 tablespoons of orange juice

1 tablespoon of soy sauce

1 pinch of ground ginger

Method for Oriental Pasta Salad:-

Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until it is tender. Meanwhile drain the pineapple, reserving the syrup. Chop the pineapple and set aside. Mix 2 tablespoons of the pineapple syrup with the remaining dressing mix ingredients. Drain the pasta and tip it into a large salad bowl, add the dressing mix, shake well and allow to cool. Add the bean sprouts, carrots, cucumber and chopped up pineapple to the pasta and fold together. Serve lightly refrigerated.

Oriental pasta salad serves 6 people
